AERIAL HOOP
The Aerial Hoop is a circus discipline and a circular apparatus suspended from the ceiling. It
consists of performing figures and sequences and requires a lot of concentration. In recent years, it has been developing in Pole Dance schools and allows easier access to learn it with a wider audience. Amandine Védrine was the first to develop it in regular classes with levels in Lyon in 2013. She offers you a teaching combining gentleness, strength and dance in intimate and semi-private classes. Dare to realize your desires to fly and dance above the ground!

Level 1 / Beginner
Level 2 / Medium
Have you mastered the basics of level 1? Let's move on to level 2!
We will integrate more of the high bar of the hoop in this level, as well as more advanced figures and more complex holds. Always incorporating them into sequences working on fluidity and grace.
*The plus: the dynamic work of the moving figures and the mini falls & catches.
** Prerequisites: We advise you to complete a year of level 1 in order to master all the basics of this level. Learning in level 2 will be easier and faster. Know how to invert (classic climb) + master the level 1 figures.
Level 3 / Medium - Intermediate
We will work more on strength and flexibility in this level. The sequences requested will therefore be more advanced, integrating work on the top of the hoop and in the ropes. You will also learn more figures in movement and more complex falls and catches.
*Plus: Work on flexibility and strength to develop
** Prerequisites: complete a minimum level 2. Master half-reverse inversions. Be comfortable with “falls” and flexibility work.
Level 4: Intermediate
The intermediate level requires mastery in terms of strength and flexibility and therefore of your body. The work is based on sequences of more advanced figures, as well as the integration of falls and catches that are also more advanced. At this stage, you must be able to chain figures on the different planes of the hoop, while being fluid in your movements and transitions. The holds become more difficult and uncomfortable at times.
*The best: The sequences that rock, worthy of Instagram!
** Prerequisites: complete at least level 3. Be comfortable with flexible and strong figures. Do not be afraid of working on falls and catches.
